[va-bird] Northern Virginia Teen Bird CLub field trip this Saturday

This Saturday, Mr Nolan Brit (hawk-watcher
extraordinaire and O'Connell Biology teacher),
will lead us on a field trip to Fort Smallwood
Park near Baltimore. This is one of the best
places to watch spring raptor migration.
We will leave Flint Hill School west campus in
Oakton (3320 Jermantown Rd) at 8 AM and return at
about 1 PM.  
Please e-mail Mr Atwood to let him know if you
plan to attend, as space is limited in the school
minibus.   We will have spare binoculars and
scopes. 

Northern Virginia Teen Bird Club, sponsored by
the Audubon Society of Northern Virgiia and Flint
Hill School is open to any student in grades 8-12
who is interested birds. Beginners and Advanced
Birders are welcome. We have a field trip each
month from September through May.
