Just a reminder that the next NVBC Meeting is NEXT
Thursday, Sept. 28, 8:00 p.m., at Bethlehem Lutheran
Church, 8922 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax. (The
calendar in the August Siskin incorrectly lists the
date as Sept. 21.) There's more information about the
meeting on the Web site at

This will be an interesting meeting. Dr. Carl Shuster will forward his theory
that Horseshoe Crabs are alive and well on the Atlantic coast and that there
are plenty of eggs for the Red Knot to feed on...
