Greetings,
Without putting forth much of an effort to bird on Saturday, I did find a
Grasshopper Sparrow singing along Route 651 north of Remington at around seven
PM. At Germantown Reservoir, there was an adult Black-crowned Night-Heron.
Probably a bird that breeds somewhere in Fauquier, but my first sighting of the
species, and the first I know about.
Hoping that Sunday has a few surprises...
