Hello All,
Today while taking a walk to see the TB Beaver downtown, we got a great
perch near two black crowned night herons along the Tidal Basin wall near the
intersection of Independence and 17th, as the road curves toward the Jefferson
Memorial.
A Park Ranger confirmed for us that the Beaver was relocated, but the
herons more than made up for our loss.
Surely the starlings picking up chewing gum on 18th Street did not miss us
today....
