Four Palm Warblers and 3 Purple Finches were tallied in the Woodcock Meadow and
a single Common Yellowthroat was observed at the platform overlooking the
central marsh at the end of the Hike-Bke Trail. Two Brown thrashers were in
the Woodcock meadow; one of these was singing near the brushpiles created by
meadow expansion. Other than that, today's survey was pretty bland.
