Sunday, December 8, 2013. There is NO $ fee due anymore for the counts.
HEADQUARTERS. Best Western Eastern Shore Inn,
2543 Lankford Highway, Exmore, VA 23350 (E. side of Rt. 13, N. end of
town). 757-442-7378. 1-888-768-8313 (to make reservations
only). I will arrive here c. 8 P.M., Sat., Dec. 14 & will spend the
night of Sun., Dec. 15 there also, Rm. 106 (N end, accessible from the
outside).
COMPILATION. 5:15 P.M. sharp. In the lounge area of the Best Western (on
the right as you go in). The manager has
graciously given her O.K. for this. Have
your list totaled and be ready to read #s right off the bat. Please don’t
track in mud, owl pellets, or
globigerina ooze. Should take c. 1 hr.
15 mins. There will be no food. After the compilation I suggest we eat at El
Maguey, on the NW side of the intersection/light just S of the motel. Please
let me know so I can reserve an area
for us.
Pretty good turnout so far, but can always use more participants.
