I had to take care of some business in Heathsville, while in the NNK I took in
some birding.
On Route 604, near Hickory Hollow I stopped at a small pond. I was checking
out a beaver dam and notice that a goose had made its home on top of the beaver
dam and was on a nest. While there there were also 3 male Wood Ducks.
On route 605 in Northumberland county
