About 40 Bonaparte's Gulls were making their way up the Potomac at Dyke
Marsh this morning. They were followed by a smaller group of about 20. There
seemed to be a bit more activity at the Marsh today than we saw on Sunday even
tho
it was still pretty chilly - maybe it was the intermittent sun...the locals
were vocal - Flickers flicking and downies whinnying...chickadees doing the
whistle wing flutter thing...best of all was not one, but two Winter Wrens
singing near Dead Beaver Beach. One RS Hawk and one RT hawk put in an
appearance as
well...
