All,
At 1:15 this afternoon a Mississippi Kite sailed out over the wetland
area from the direction of the visitor's center at Huntley Meadows in
Fairfax County. It soared above the wetland for 10 minutes while I
watched through my scope and binoculars (when it was too close for the
scope!). Gorgeous bird!
Kurt Gaskill had the bird over the trees at the far end near the raised
platform at 11:00am.
