[va-bird] Meadowlark Garden's 10.17

11 children, 9 adults, enjoyed Sunday’s birdwalk for kids at Meadowlark with
special guests Georgia the Barred Owl and Isabel the Red-tailed Hawk. Lois
Napier of the Wash. Metro. Raptor Society brought two of her non-releasable
raptors for us to enjoy.
It was a bit windy, which seemed to have kept the bird numbers down a bit.
We did find a pair of Palm Warblers, White-throated Sparrows, Junco, and an
Osprey flew over.
