What a glorious and birdy morning at the park today! Lots of birds at the
feeder and in the marsh and woods, including a few early migrants:
first-of-the-season sightings of HOUSE WREN, WOOD DUCK; EASTERN PHOEBE as
well (first-of-the-season seen yesterday). See below for full list.

Wood Duck (first of season! 4 drakes, at least 1 hen)
Mallard Duck
Lesser Scaup
Bufflehead
Ruddy Duck
Common Merganser
Mourning Dove
Downy Woodpecker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Eastern Phoebe (singing, also seemed to be checking out potential nest
sites)

House Wren (first of season)
Eastern Bluebird (definitely checking out nest sites, aka bluebird boxes)
