VA Birders:
I discovered a Marsh Wren at Fort C.F. Smith Park in Arlington Co. today.
The bird was flying back and forth across the Bird Stream, and it seemed to
eat some weed seeds from a plant on the left bank of the stream. I found a
House Wren first, and the Marsh Wren appeared while I was watching it. I also
had my first fall Yellow-rump at the park today. I think the Marsh Wren is a
new species for the park's list!
