Hello All,
We had a nice 4 inch snowfall in Bridgewater, Rockingham County (near
Harrisonburg) which may have contributed to our treat to 12 Fox Sparrows
in the yard kicking around Saturday.
We have seen five for a week or so, but this was a pretty big uptick.
In past years we have not seen more than one at a time here.
Admittedly, we are working on improving the habitat in our little 1/3
acre, but we have been hearing from other people too about similar high
numbers.
