Since last Saturday's summary we have stayed closed another two nights on
Sunday and Thursday because of mist and/or rain winding down, and the other
nights have netted 0, 1, 3, and 1 Saw-whets on Mon, Tues, Wed, and Fri
respectively, to put us at 36 birds for the season. All of these birds came
to us unbanded but left with a bracelet as a souvenir. My nets will be
closed the next week as I am out of town for the holiday, but I will try at
least a few nights in early December as the birds are reported to be behind
schedule this season.
