My Lincoln woods and meadow walk this glorious morning yielded up all seven
woodpeckers, including all but No. Flicker together in one small area that
is a favorite woodpecker hangout. The Red-Headed was actually a
black-headed juvenile. The other highlights were a Blue-Headed Vireo and
Red-Breasted Nuthatch.
