Sue Heath just called me and said she spotted the Loggerhead Shrike on
Montressor Rd (~10:45 a.m.).
Here's the directions to the bird from Route 15, north of Leesburg and
south of Lucketts:
Go west on Montressor and make the 90
degree right turn. Go past the farm house on the left and the green barns
on the right. Just down the hill (north) from the barns at the bottom of
the hill, look for the second hedgerow perpendicular to the road on the
right (west side), there are 3 "Posted" signs very close together on the
left with some orange flagging here. Look along the hedgerows on the right
side of the road.
