Greetings to all:
On my morning drive to Danville today, I left early enough to stop and check
out Leggett's Bottom which is flooded by the recent heavy rains in the area.
I found the following:
Great Blue Heron - 1
Lesser Scaup - 11
R T Hawk - 1
Northern Harrier - 2
Canada Goose - 12
In my drive home this evening the Lesser Scaup was still there.
I hope that I can get back up Hwy 58 in the morning as the river is still
rising and it looks like part of Hwy 58 will close by tonight.
