I had an enjoyable late afternoon walk today at Huntley Meadows Park. I did
not get a great number of species, but had a couple of surprises. Notable
birds were- EASTERN WOOD PEEWEE, BROWN THRASHER, MAGNOLIA WARBLER, WILSON'S
WARBLER, PALM WARBLER, and a calling BARRED OWL. Of course the swift and
swallow flying acrobatic
show is also worth the trip.
