Howdy all,
Yesterday (9/27) was almost a lost cause. We only banded 6 birds but it was
quite windy so we only had half the nets open. Today was a much better showing.
We banded a total of 158 birds. Most of the birds were expected birds but we
did band a BICKNELL'S THRUSH which was quite the surprise. Almost as
surprising were the capture of a BROWN CREEPER and RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET! Is
winter
already here???
I am excited to see what the next few days hold for us!
Here's the list from the last two days.
