Howdy all,
Today was a slower day but it was more due to the wind than anything. There
were LOTS of YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS still around. We didn't catch anything
unusual but we did manage to catch 226 birds for the day. Of the three
SHARP-SHINNED HAWKS  we caught today, two of them were adult birds! Very
beautiful! We
don't catch many of them here.

Here are the totals for the day 10/26:

Ruby-crowned Kinglet             4
Golden-crowned Kinglet          3
Brown Creeper                       1
Black-throated Blue Warbler    1
Common Yellowthroat             1
Yellow-rumped Warbler          196
Eastern Phoebe                      1
Field Sparrow                          1
White-throated Sparrow            6
Eastern Towhee                       1
Hermit Thrush                          3
Gray Catbird                            5               now that a little
more normal
Sharp-shinned Hawk                 3

TOTAL-----------------------------------   226
