Now that I am back in town and back on line, let me extend a very
belated thank you to the gracious Karen from Madison Co. Several weeks
back, we were looking for the sparrows at Julie Metz. Karen, who had to
get back to work after her lunch hour, most generously gave us a lot of
seed to spread.
It worked, sort of, Karen. I got a glimpse of the Harris's, but very
briefly. We couldn't find it again, or the Clay-colored. But thank you
so much for sharing your birdseed--and for the example of remembering to
carry some with us.
