Webb Smith, having safely evacuated from New Orleans, and I birded from 42nd
St. to Reedy Creek this am - and it was really, really quiet, with one
wonderful exception. Only 3 Warbler species, but one was a male GOLDEN-WINGED
WARBLER, a very unusual bird for this location. Nothing else of note,
unfortunately,
the Warbler sure made our hearts sing.
