In the last 10 days I've seen the following interesting sites on my local
commutes:
Sandhill Crane flying over the Main Gate at Quantico
Two Bald Eagles that appeared to be talon locking over Old Bridge Road near
Occoquan.
100+ DC Cormorants on the water near the Davis Ford Bridge
Hope it continues, makes traffic much more pleasant.
