Fellow Birders,
At about 5:30 p.m. yesterday, a beautiful INDIGO BUNTING appeared in my
back yard in Burke, Va. It fed on seeds that had spilled on the ground
under my bird feeder. My son and I observed it for about
5-minutes and it appeared to be exhausted. Perhaps it had traveled a
number of miles to reach Virginia.
