Following up on Allen Bryan's post about Iceland Gulls around the Southpark
Mall in Colonial Heights recently, I stopped by the pond in front of the
American Family Fitness Center on my way home from work this afternoon. There
were many gulls on the pond and present was a single immature ICELAND GULL
swimming around in the open water adjacent to the ice.
On the home front, the birds are feasting at the feeders. Particularly
enjoyable was seeing 4 PINE WARBLERS together in the suet cage. Good birding.
