Hello Birders..
Been enjoying your posts immensly and wishing I lived in the vicinity of
Huntley Meadows and Occoquan and such, but alas..I am stuck here in New Kent
County, otherwise known as "Mosquito Headquarters". Very hard to bird after
bathing in repellant and still being devoured y the little beasties..
Just came back from the Outer Banks where the birding wasn't the greatest. A
few warblers in the Currituck Estuaries (along with a large water mocassin..Oy!
) and tons of Terns. With my trusty 400mm, I shot what I thought was a Snowy
Egret, but when I got home and converted the RAW file, I have some doubt. Just
to prove a point to myself, could this be an imm. Little Blue Heron? I might
give myself a prize if I'm right :)
