Subject: [va-bird] Huntley Meadows Monday Morning Walk=0D
=0D
The 9 birders on this morning's Huntley Meadows Monday Morning birdwalk w=
ere
met with temperatures in the high 20s, light breeze and cloudy skies. We
tallied 44 species. The highlights were the continued presence of two
American Bitterns, large numbers of Wilson's Snipes, and very large
populations of Rusty Blackbirds. Warbler counts are beginning with
sightings of Palm, Pine and Yellow-rumped. We remain very encouraged of
the possibility that the Bitterns who have been seen on the edges of the
main impoundment area for several weeks may be nesting.=0D
