This morning's Huntley Meadows Monday Birdwalk attracted 19 birders who tallied
55 species. No particular highlights except for 6 Hooded Merganser ducklings
following mother duck very closely. Very high on the cute scale. We had a
British guest with us this morning who told me that he was able to rack up 9
possibly 10 life birds on this walk! A correction on last week's report: I
listed 4 Alder Flycatchers. These should have been 4 Acadian Flycatchers,
Sorry for the mix-up.
