Sorry for the last post . . . No idea why that happened.  SO I'm using a
different email program for this send.

I found the Virginia Rail and Sora at 530 and again at 7 PM on the left
side of the boardwalk just beyond the intersection.  Also 2 snipe &
yellowlegs.  A Prairie Warbler, BG Gnatcatchers, Yellowthroats, RC
Kinglet, and group of Palm Warblers were around the tower.  There were
rumors that one or two people had a brief black rail sighting in the
same area as the Virginia between my two visits to that spot, but I have
no idea how much confidence there was in the sighting.

Also had  9 herp species (bull, green and leopard frog; rat, ribbon and
water snakes; and painted, spotted and snapping turtle).  Not to mention
the infamous meadow vole.
