Suddenly hummingbirds have arrived in force at our feeders here in Annandale in
northern Virginia. Numbers have jumped from an average of 2 or 3 throughout
most of July to around 10 to 12 this morning. Yes, they were seen
simultaneously and maybe half are juvies. Amazing!
