I took a quick walk through Hidden Oaks Park in Fairfax County yesterday.
Managed to see the Yin and Yang of Virginia birding on the trail -- Bald
Eagle and Brown Creeper. Pretty good for an hour's walk.
Lots of sparrow activity:
Bald Eagle
Red-shouldered Hawk
Pileated Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Cardinal
Savanna Sparrow
Chipping Sparrow
Song Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow
House Sparrow
House Finch
Mourning Dove
Carolina Chickadee
Tufted Titmouse
