Thanks to all of you who have sent me comments on the night heron
picture I posted.
I have been able to get some more pictures of better quality, so I
wanted to see if I could get another round of comments.

I would appreciate it if you would tell me if you think the birds are
Black crowned Night Herons, or Yellow crowned Night Herons and tell me
which field marks are the reason for your identification.
I've been studying my Sibley and Peterson and these birds seem to have
some of the attributes of a BCNH and some of a YCNH, but as I said
before, I don't have experience with distinguishing the immature of
these two species.
After I get everyones comments, I'll post a summary of what people think
(without peoples names of course - just the counts of what people think)
