Tad Finnell kept the count today. Birds were flying high in brisk NW winds
and were extremely difficult to locate against a cloudless sky. A Redtail was
observed dropping what appeared to be a rodent to a second Redtail which caught
it. Thanks to everyone who came up to the lookout to help spot hawks. The
upcoming week should be interesting with numerous lookouts to the north
counting
many hundreds of hawks today.
