Tad Finnell kept the count today. Conditions seemed perfect for a good
flight but only 31 hawks were recorded in 7 hours. They were either too high to
be seen or they just didn't come down our ridge. Late afternoon a flock of 17
DC Cormorants flew over. The resident Ravens kept us company most of the day,
often making us laugh at their antics and vocalizations. Baron Gibson, Jim
Hylton and Mike Purdy were on hand to help spot.
