Visitors:
The spring AT through hike season is in full swing and we had at least a
dozen GA to ME hikers pass through throughout the day. A fair amount of
traffic on the parkway also.
Weather:
Beautiful spring day with temps ranging from the low to upper 60s. Sunny
with cloud cover varying throughout the day to as much as 75% at some
points. Winds were from the NNW and fairly strong for most of the day
before tailing off in the last hour or so.
Raptor Observations:
Don and Phillp were at Harvey's Knob initially and saw a kestrel and three
broadwings in the first half hour. The rest of the group were at Montvale
and Don joined us there. Lots of help and great seeing so many regulars
after the long winter break. Dale Miller, Carl Christensen and Dan Dehart
were also on hand.
