Observers: BJ Westervelt, Jon Little, Max Heath, Mike Day, Sue Heath,
Todd Day
Visitors:
Bobby Hilton. The Cigar and Coffee Harley Club. Brian Montgomery, Quincy,
River. The guy in the orange hat. A couple Holiday Tree watchers.
Really. The Mount Weather Police.
Weather:
Too clear and not enough wind. Not a cloud all day.
Observations:
The National Holiday Tree, a 7,500 pound, 106 year old, eighty-two foot
tall Red Spruce went by the hawk watch a little before two o'clock on its
way to the White House. It was towed on a long flat-bed and was covered
with a billowy translucent plastic cover that made it look a lot like a
huge queen termite.
A Welsh Springer Spaniel, but I'm not betting much that it is a full
breed. Topo to investigate.
Predictions:
Someone will have had to clean up Bob's mess.
