Few. Thanks to the recently departed Madame Monarch, Sharna Tolfry, for her
help and company on the platform.
Weather:
Cloudless, light W wind.
Raptor Observations:
Little push between 1:00 & 2:00- think the sharpies may have been crossing
today.
Non-raptor Observations:
~3,500 robins southbound in morning; at least twice that many red-winged
blackbirds, with some large grackle flocks to boot; 42 southbound blue
jays; purple finch; lots of bluebirds around this morning for first time;
brown-headed & r-b nuthatch; dickcissel; lots of horned larks and
meadowlarks overhead; phoebe singing; 11 common loons; flock of 15 wood
ducks.
Predictions:
Sunny, 70s, S wind 10-15.
