Weather:
Cloudy early, clearing to blue skies.
Raptor Observations:
Light flight, high birds. Still some kestrels in the pipeline- they were
moving at daybreak and at sunset. Had 4 young bald eagles overhead
chirrupping at one point.
Non-raptor Observations:
Greater yellowlegs flyover; brown-headed and red-br. nuthatches; FOY pipit;
snipe flyover; 6 common loons; 19 migrating great blue herons; surprise
late afternoon chimney swift push, with a few dozen birds in the last 2-3
hours; swifts still moving after sunset.
Predictions:
Southerly wind, showers likely in afternoon.
