While visiting my grandkids in Port Royal, I decided to
check the gravel pits west of King George on route 3.
I saw a Greater White-fronted Goose foraging near the edge
of one of the pits two ponds west of the gate for Aggregate
Industries. The bird appeared to be a HATCH YEAR bird and
did not associate with the large flock of Canada Geese
foraging in the stubble.
