On this cold [warming up to 28 degrees], overcast morning, six birders
identified 33 species. The clay pond is now frozen over so all the mallards
and
black ducks are now on the river along with an increase in ring-necks. The
Sunday morning walk meets at the visitor center's courtyard at 8:00 am each
Sunday -- all are welcome.
