At around 3:30 on July 10 we observed a Great Egret flying upstream about 100
ft above the Shenandoah River at Calmes Neck Point.
A prior observation on July 2 around 7 P.M. was also made at Calmes neck point,
by Margaret Wester. The Great Egret she observed also flew along the river,
landed for a few moments in a tree top, then continued to fly up stream.
