VA BIRDers,
There was a first winter Glaucous Gull on the riverside Hunting Creek mudflats
late this afternoon. In addition, the larger larids totaled about 150, split
about evenly between Herring and Great Black-backed. Curiously, no Lesser
Black-backed Gulls were noted.
