Where are all these people going on vacation? I want a vacation, too. I need a vacation. Hell, I can't even remember what a vacation looks like. What are the important field marks? Does it sing? Do I have to worry about subspecies? Do male and female vacations look different? What about those confusing fall vacations? That's what we're seeing here on va-bird, I bet.

I really need a vacation.

LOL

Hi VA-Birders,

Rain go away.  Looks like a good weekend to bird on the Internet.

We have many new VA-Bird members so it is time to remind everyone how to
administer your account on the listserv.  Please save this email for future
reference.

I am happy to assist you if you run into problems.

Common VA-Bird requests

Make sure you send listserv commands to the correct email address:

va-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Note it differs from the VA-Bird posting email address.  For all commands,
place them in the subject line of the email, without quotes or any other
punctuation.  Leave the body of the email blank.

To unsubscribe, send an email from the email account you subscribed to
VA-Bird with ‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line (no quotes).

The command ‘set vacation’ will suspend all VA-Bird email until you send a
second command ‘unset vacation’.

The command ‘set digest’ will give you one email per day with all VA-Bird
postings for that day.  Again, to stop the digest, send the command ‘unset
digest’.

Within minutes you should receive a confirming email from freelists.org
stating that your command was accepted.....or not.

Problems?  Email me at paulbirds19@xxxxxxxxxxx  and we’ll solve them.

Good birding and cerfing,

Paul
