If anyone is going to be in the area of the Ripley Garden tonight or first
thing tomorrow morning(between Smithsonian Arts & Industries Building & the
Hirshorn), please check to be sure the poor little kitten isn't after the poor
little hummingbird. . .
Thanks!

Anybody want a kitten? How 'bout a kitten-cicle?

The Rufous Hummingbird was in the Ripley Garden
this afternoon, before 3:00 PM, in the tall Arbor Vitae
still lit by the sun.
Also in the corner of the A&I building by the
feeder was a little kitten, meowing piteously.
I hope for two things: (1) that the kitten leaves
the hummingbird alone tonight, and (2) that I have
not inadvertently started the 'cat thread'! Prove
me right, MDOSPREY readers!
