Quarterly meeting of the Friends of Dyke Marsh
(Dyke Marsh is a tidal marsh on the Potomac river south of Old Town
Alexandria, administered by the National Park Service and part of the George
Washington memorial parkway; the Friends of Dyke Marsh is a 30-year old
conservation organization with 501 (c) (3) status)
After a brief business meeting our Featured speaker will be:
Paula Sullivan, well-known local birder and photographer, will speak on
"Expanding Your Birding Experience: Digiscoping" at the Friends of Dyke
Marsh quarterly meeting, free to all, Wednesday, November 15 at 7:45 pm at
the Huntley Meadows Park Visitors Center, off Lockheed Boulevard,
Alexandria.
Hear a very practical guide to the popular practice of taking spectacular
photographs with a digital point-and-shoot camera through the eyepiece of a
spotting scope.
