VA BIRDers,
Marc Ribaudo, Jay Keller, Rich Rieger and I visited the edge of Fauquier Co
Saturday morning, working our way north from I-66 to the Sky Meadows Bridle
Trail area (arriving near 9AM). Best highlight was E. Wood Pewee near the
east end of the trail. We initially skipped the area near the barn since
another group was there before us - when we revisited several hours later it
was mostly barren. Below is a list of species of some interest and numbers
to give the reader a sense of what we came across.
