The association where I own my condo has sent a letter about how they =
plan
to get rid of the Canada Geese: They have contracted a group called =
"Geese
Peace Program", do you know who they are and is this legal???. . . . =
They
will have volunteers collecting the eggs or painting the eggs with oil =

they don't hatch. Up to here I can agree. . . but a component of this
program is to chase the geese from around the lake with a dog and to =
take
the dog in the water and let him swim to scare the geese away. They say =
they
have a permit to do this. I though it was illegal to HARASS WILD LIFE.=20
They plan to do this between the time they nest and before they molt, =
and I
quote "this can produce a relatively Canada goose-free lake at Lake =
Vista
within a couple of years."=20
If people don't like geese, they should not move next to a lake toward =
the
country side, they should move to Orlando, Fl. This is all about not =
wanting
to have Canada poop in the walking trails. I guess our new name should =
be
Virginia Disney, they have also manage to cut the cattails in the =
marshy
area infront of the mini-bridge.=20
