I was sitting in my back yard this evening enjoying
the male Ruby-throat that has been coming to my feeder
for the past 3 days, when an Eastern Kingbird flew
overhead, chasing and scolding a grackle. It JUST got
here, and already it's chasing away grackles! Good for
him!

Sidenote: Two Yellow-crowned Night Herons flew over on
Wednesday (the 7th), and Purple Martins made their
first appearance here on the 7th as well.

Spring Fever!
