The regular Sunday Friends of Dyke Marsh birdwalk took place today, December
5. There were no surprises, although there were a few 'latish' species: DC
Cormorant, Great Egret, Laughing Gull and Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher. At least four
Bald Eagles were present but NO ducks (other than Mallards), Ospreys, Feral
Pigeons, American Robins or Yellow-rumped Warblers. NO siskins or swallows.
