I think today was the last day of duck season (told to me by a hunter who was
walking in Dyke, scouting out the birds) - seems to me it would be a good
idea to get an interpretation of the law from whoever enforces it...my
understanding is that the floating blinds can be used in MD waters, and
technically the Potomac is all MD waters. However, I have also heard that
there are only certain days that they can hunt in the Dyke Marsh area, and
Saturday ain't one of them. Let's get ready for next year with a clear
understanding of the law and the game warden's # programmed into our cell
phones (the game wardens can ask for permits - it's their job, they carry
